You may have to wait indefinitely. The EU, Britain and Canada do the the same thing to their own citizens when it suits them.

Canada is memorable for freezing the bank accounts of truckers who objected to Covid vaccinations.

With Britain you can look up the case of Nigel Farage who got debanked.

I honestly don't know what the US government thinks they will accomplish with this. It will only strengthen European resolve- countries hate being bullied. It's one of things that makes people rally around the flag.
