Economic isolation leads to innovation. We've seen this over and over before. All you do with this "no AMSL for you" is force them to learn how to make their own equipment. Obviously it has risks and takes decades but you come out the other side with your trade opponent equally well equipped.

Banning Huawei will have similar effects. They have a huge domestic and non aligned economy market, and will innovate behind the barrier.
