There was no need for you to be a jerk or cross into the flamewar style in your comment here, and the sad thing is that you obviously know a lot about this topic, so your comment being correctly flagged (for breaking the site guidelines) deprives readers of the information you have to contribute.



I'd put in a strong vote that sufficient second chances have been offered here.

Moderator inaction itself reads poorly on HN after a time, and is a frequent criticism of the site, with some merits.
