What does the 'rc' in `.bashrc`, etc. mean?
Nope. It ran an in-house OS named "Delphi". There was a PDP 11/45 at LCS and a PDP 11/40 in building 38 used to teach 6.031 (the predecessor of 6.001).

Is there any information available about this "Delphi" OS?
I've always found obscure historical operating systems fascinating.
