Gitlab just posted an update that they are going to process the feedback and rethink the feature here. Nice to see a heads-up move like that - I was ready to drop Gitlab like a hot rock.
I am dropping Gitlab like a hot rock. The way they did this initially, and the responses that I've been reading here and on Gitlab, don't reassure me at all.
