How are you holding session if every command is issues through cli? I assume this is essential for automation.

A background daemon holds the session state between different CLI calls. This daemon is started automatically on the first webctl call and auto-closes after a timeout period of inactivity to save resources.

Yes, you can create isolated environments using the "--session NAME" flag.

It isolates cookies and local storage for that specific run. Since it's a V1 release, there might be some edge cases in the session isolation - if you hit any, please open an issue!

Why is this getting downvoted... it is true. Also it is true that dynamic languages (like Ruby ;) and Python) are more efficient with tokens, like significantly then types like C, C++ or such. But Javascript and Typescript are using twice the tokens of Ruby for example and Clojure is even more efficient, obviosly I would add.

First you don't have to dump anything to use Linux. The whole thing should not be as antogonistic.

I switched to Linux, Arch btw, Omarchy, sometime last year when it was announced. I installed it on my old Thinkpad and it worked wonderfully, for most part. I realized that I am more productive there in real sense and experience is more delightful.

When I would go back to Mac, I would realize I need several clicks to accomplish something I had on shortcut available. Having websites/apps on shortcuts as an app is huge help. Also working on command line is really much more focused.

Sometimes in September I plugged Thinkpad to desktop setup and in December I set my powerful computer to Omarchy as well.

It isn't seamless experience, there are issues switching from speakers to headphones and dictation can be hard to setup. Overall whole machine seems more powerful and interesting to work on.

This is first time in many years that I can both play and work on same machine which is definitely welcome and surprising.

One more thing to note, nowadays Arch is more stable then Ubunty and works better. However, any distro you pick, you should be happy with, especially if you want to do work, you should just pick and stick with distro.

I installed Omarchy last year when it come out (Arch distro for devs) on laptop and December I installed it on desktop machine, the powerful one.

Now I can play and work on a same machine for the first time in like 15+ years since I switched to Mac so I can work.

It isn't smooth sailing, I have bluetooth speakers and headphones, switching is not easy experience. Vibe coding, audio dictation works on Thinkpad which is underpowered compared to desktop, but it isn't working there. In fact this is more troublesome issue then headphones.

But for most part I could live with those issues and hopefully they get resolved.

Macs are just annoying, updates are for things I don't care and everything is about pushing me towards some subscription or other. I don't see future there for myself

Look, Google is getting recognized as a leadership role in AI space, as it is a leader and Tailwind gets more time to figure things out. Doing a Firefox would not be good, just to coast and spend money on random projects.

It would be nice for Adam to figure things out and find ways to make things happen.

I tried it. My Perplexity premium expired, maybe that is it, but it barely did anything.

When I put prompt you suggested, it did open Perplexity in Comet and then I guess didn't get response even though Perplexity did research, so it used regular search mcp to get results...

It is cool idea, this is what I would like to have, something to automate boring stuff. Find all LinkedIn connections that are not active and remove them from my network for example.

I don't think it is your mcp or code, as tech is just not there yet. It is much easier to accomplish this through other automations.

I love Steve Yegge, but even if this thing was working how it should (and it isn't), it is just overly complicated and with a lot of misdirection.

He as a dev should know that adding a layer of names on top of already named entities is not a good practice. But he just had fun and this came up. Which is fantastic. But I don't want to have to translate names in my head all the time.

Just not useful. Beads also... really sorry to say this, but it is a task runner with labels, but it has 0 awareness of the actual tasks.

I don't know, maybe I am wrong, but this just doesn't seem like a thing that will work. Which is why I think it will be popular, nobody will be able to make it work, but they will not want to look dumb and will say it is awesome and amazing. Like another AI thingy I could name but will not that everyone is using.

But love Yegge and hope he does well. Amp for a little bit that I used it, is really solid agent and delivered much better results than many others.

I totally get people being skeptical, I myself are not pre-ordering nothing :) let's be honest here. This is awesome idea with a lot of really nice touches, headphone jack, button lights up as a notification, keyboard as a touch pad...

So I have a lot of hope for this working and it will be fantastic influence on others. Niagara launcher, if they tweaked it, can be nice as well with keyboard.

I want them to succeed. I am on Google Fi, I have data card with my plan, this would be perfect use. I don't chat nearly as much but this would just me fantastic.

I watched full keynote, it is very good presentation, that thing alone should sell phones.

Price... I don't know, it is OK, it could be lower, but it is fine if it delivers. I am not getting anything until I get it reviewed by multiple people.
